Install the free software OpenVanilla
OpenVanillaIt is a free Mac OS input method suite, which supports many input methods. The built-in input methods include Cangjie, Daiyi, and so on. The installation file can be found atOfficial WebsiteDownload the latest version. After downloading and extracting the file, double-click on it to install it. Once installed, you should see a green OpenVanilla icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
If it doesn't show up, it may be that you haven't switched to the original input method, try switching input methods to see if you can find OpenVanilla.
If you still don't see it, go to System Preferences and check if OpenVanilla is enabled in the Input sources in the Keyboard Settings, if not, add it to the list by clicking the + button at the bottom left corner.
Install Shrimp Root File
Root files can be found hereDownload If you open this link, you can right-click it to save it and rename it to liu7.cin. Another way to download it is to open the terminal and enter the following command, then liu7.cin will be downloaded to the usual download folder.

curl -LO https://raw.githubusercontent.com/rwu823/liu/master/bundle/liu7.cinThen import from OpenVanilla using "OpenVanilla Preferences...", find the import button and select the liu7.cin file you just downloaded.
After installation, click the green openvanilla icon in the upper right corner, then you can see the input method liu7, that is, we have just installed the shrimp.
