Medicated Life Saving

There's thunder, big thunder.

A new movie on netflix in 2020 about a possessive man who is a paramedic and is paralyzed in an ambulance accident one day. His girlfriend, who was supposed to be getting married, is still there for him, but in the end, she is unable to cope with the man's eccentricity and his crazy behavior of surveillance. The protagonist is devastated to find out that his girlfriend has started a new life a few months later, and that she and her new boyfriend are preparing for the arrival of a baby, so he takes action to retaliate.

Through a friend in the hospital, he obtained various kinds of anesthetics and tricked his ex-girlfriend into coming to his home and tied her up after anesthesia. After that, the girlfriend's continuous escape from the failed code, the elderly neighbors heard the noise many times, but the thought of not reporting to the police, and finally also by the hero in a hurry to clean up. In short, his girlfriend is forced to eat and sleep with him every day, usually under half anesthesia, so she can't escape. In the end, she found the nail clippers in the toilet by pretending to take a shower, and then faked fever to lure the hero out to buy medicine before finally starting the final escape, which is also the last intense climax of the movie. The heroine, who has been captured for months, has lost her legs and is as paralyzed as a paraplegic. We see her cracking the locked door with a screwdriver, but she bumps into the hero coming home in front of the elevator, and the final fight is exciting and exciting, as the heroine ignores her pregnancy and falls down the staircase, and the hero falls down the staircase in order to catch up with her. The two paraplegics wrestle for half a day, but finally the heroine manages to push the hero down the staircase handrail and escapes.

The ending is a bit confusing, as the hero doesn't die after falling down a few floors, but is advanced to a half-vegetative with total disability. The weird part is that the heroine comes to the hospital and says in an unkind tone that she will take him back into her care. What she plans to do with him remains to be seen...

After watching this movie, I can give him a medium rating. The two leads are good, the escape in the middle is predictable but still tense and enjoyable, and the thriller is a competent one. If the movie had ended with a successful escape, I would have given it an 8, but the ending was too confusing, so I gave it a medium rating. Maybe it's just my imagination, I don't know how this open-ended ending can be so creepy as to add to the overall movie. Overall, although I only give it a medium rating, I still recommend it to those who like thrillers.
